National Diploma in Dental Nursing – course overview

This course is suitable for trainee dental nurses who wish to gain the qualification and register with the General Dental Council.

We believe that students benefit from a range of learning methods and so our course comprises face to face teaching, online coursework, research and structured class workshops and workplace activities.

Our Tutors are all GDC registered Dental Nurses with many years’ experience in teaching and supporting trainees who are working towards their qualification.

Support for the student is the focus of our approach.  We offer personalised support with one to one reviews and planning.  We encourage trainees to take ownership and responsibility for their training, develop a professional attitude and use reflective skills both in their study and in their work roles.  In this way our students become Dental Nurses who understand the importance of self development, team working and patient care.
